5 venues for a small wedding in Dubai

If you’re getting married in UAE and haven’t yet found your dream wedding venue, then maybe today’s blog will help.
I thought I’d keep today’s blog simple and list my favourite 5 venues for a wedding of 50 guests or less.
1. The One and Only, Palm Jumeirah
The One and Only, Palm Jumeirah has a beautiful small courtyard which sits up to 8 round tables of 10 comfortably. Surrounded by trees and potted plants this venue is elegant enough that it really doesn’t need a lot of decor. In fact, I wouldn’t over do it. I  suggest candles, flowers for the tables and perfectly designed signage and stationery is all you need. It’s one of my favourite venues at night too, because you can light it with candles and fairy lights and you don’t need to spend a fortune on lighting.

2. Dubai Marina Yacht Club
It was only a few months ago that I discovered the Chart Lounge at Dubai Marina Yacht Club. I was on a site visits for a styled shoot and I walked in and it screamed ” perfect venue for a wedding of 50″.  There are no huge minimum spends, it’s private, it’s also pretty simple so it acts as a blank canvas and when decorated it really does look like a wedding venue.

3. Purobeach at CONRAD Dubai
Possibly the ultimate hidden gem of wedding venues. If you have a massive budget and more than 30-50 guests then this is could eb an option for a larger wedding too, but if you’re a wedding party of 30 then this venue is smashing. Imagine a pool side dinner with candle lit reflections surround by tropical trees? No you’re not in Sri Lanka, you’re at the CONRAD on Sheikh Zayed road.

4. Arabian Ranches Golf Club
Did you know that ARGC have a private terrace with golf lawns views? On the terrace you can easily fit 20-40 guests on a long rectangle table, or 30-40 on round tables. The terrace leads into a large function room which you could also use for dinner reception to squeeze in more tables. The plus side of this venue is the privacy, the views and the great service. Being a small venue they will really take care of you… I know this from experience.
5. The Ritz Carlton, JBR
If you’re on the hunt for a venue and The Ritz is on your list, make sure you ask to see the small terrace area on the left side of the main outdoor entrance. It’s just off one of their restaurants and it’s the perfect place for a wedding of 30-40 guests. Last year I styled a wedding there and it was amazing. It was intimate, easy to decorate and affordable for most small wedding parties.
