My holiday snaps – July 2013 ♥

Good afternoon my lovelies,
How are we all today? I thought I’d share some of my holiday snaps with you, and show you just how beautiful the UK can be when the sun is shining. Nathan  and I spent a week in the UK, and started off in Shropshire.

We spent 2 nights with my grandparents and then drove up to Snowdonia in North Wales for 2 nights in the Welsh countryside. We really didn’t do too much other than walking around, driving through country roads and visiting traditional British pubs. My Canadian husband likes them.. a lot! We did manage to get some exercise in and spent the day mountain biking. It was my first time in years riding a bike, and I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it. Apart from the bit where I fell off and bruised my hand. It wasn’t even a rock n roll kind of fall, more like a slow motion topple over. Luckily Nathan was the only one around to see me make a fool of myself.

After 2 nights in North Wales we made our way down the country back to Somerset to see my Mum, Sister and Step Dad. I really do love England in the sunshine, although it’s quite obvious that the brits are not prepared for soaring temperatures of 30c. It’s just not normal. I really can’t complain though, I’d rather be chilling in 30c than 45c!

Since my last trip I notice a huge change in the garden. My sister Nicole and my Mum are some what expert gardners and recently bought a poly tunnel, so they can grow lots of organic row vegetables and salads. It’s amazing! Check out the picture below… it’s going to a huge pumpkin! Pretty impressive right 🙂

Anyway, I probably shouldn’t ramble too much as I need to leave the house and pay my friend Ruth a visit. I’m actually going to see her little son Alfie… he’s adorable and I actually love him. Oh and if you’re looking for a wedding dress check out www.abelasbridalboutique.com – Ruth is the lady behind this wonderful creation. No doubt there will be lots of wedding chat this afternoon… guess I can count that as working?? lol.
Back tomorrow my lovelies… Mwah x
